Kim Ficaro’s world consists of many parts. For 2 decades she has worked in the commercial and editorial world as a prop/ interior stylist and set designer, mostly recognized for her work as an interior stylist not only in the editorial world but as well as long time stylist for brands such as, Anthropologie, DWR, Herman Miller, West Elm, Crate and Barrel and many more. Former style editor of the original Domino Magazine, co author of The Inspired Home, published by Rizzoli in 2014. She also worked with Canvas Home, collaborating & designing a small collection of furniture and textiles. Kim has contributed to WSJ magazine, Bon Appetit and Yolo Journal for market and editorial pieces. In 2017 she developed and designed her home collection Totem Home. She works mainly with small productions, artisans and workshops in Oaxaca and Portugal. Her quest comes from a place of a deep desire to create and offer beautiful pieces for the home in a conscious, slow and thoughtful manner, where the value is placed on the imperfect, quality.

Kim has her hands and heart in many places in the world. Her work, her receptiveness, thoughtfulness and commitment to offering beauty in whatever form is the gentle thread that continues throughout. This is where she thrives, where she sees opportunity to communicate creatively, with the world and one another.
